Incentives for Foreign Investment

Foreign investment, along with exports has become one of the cornerstones of Chile’s economy. With its clear and stable legal system, Chile has become a pioneer and model for the rest of the region in developing policies to attract foreign investment. Its regulations in general, treat foreign and local investors equally, grant free access to nearly all economic sectors, and have minimum government intervention in investment activity.
