Juan Andrés Fontaine Talavera
Mr. Fontaine holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master in Economics from the University of Chicago with doctorate studies at the same university. Currently, he works as an economic and financial consultant. He was Minister of Economy, Minister of Public Works, Director of Studies of the Central Bank of Chile and director of several companies. He has been Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Universidad de Chile, and Visiting Professor at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He joined the Committee in August 2021.
Macarena Pérez Ojeda
Ms. Pérez holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Chile. Currently, she is a partner at Econsult, where she serves as Investment Advisor for families, individuals and institutions. She is also a board member of Bbosch, Fundación Mujer Impacta, Fundación la Fuente, member of the development council of Universidad Finnis Terrae and mentor at Women in Finance. She was General Manager of IM Trust AGF, Institutional Distribution Manager of IM Trust, Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Credicorp Capital, and member of the Board of Directors of Empresas Volcán S.A. and Credicorp Capital. She joined the Committee in August 2021.
Ricardo Budinich Diez
Mr. Budinich holds a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science, both from Universidad de Chile and holds a diploma in corporate governance from Universidad Católica. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of several companies and is member of Vigilance Committees of foreign private equity, global debt, small-mid cap equities and real estate funds. He was Chief Financial Officer of Copec, Director of Sonacol and many subsidiaries from the same company, Chief Financial Officer of Casaideas and advisor to its Board of Directors, member of the Consultative Counsel of Fundación Copec-UC, member of the Investment Committee of Compañía de Seguros Cruz del Sur and assistant professor of Universidad de Chile. He also performed several executive positions in companies from the financial sector. He joined the Committee in September 2016.
Martín Costabal Llona
Mr. Costabal holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Chile. He has performed as Finance Minister and Budget Director, executive of Empresas Pizarreño and Infraestructura Dos Mil, CEO of AFP Habitat and Member of the Technical advisory of Investment established by the Pension Reform. Currently he serves on the Boards of Directors of private companies. He joined the Committee in January 2007.
Nicolás Eyzaguirre Guzmán
Mr. Eyzaguirre holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Economic Science, both from Universidad de Chile. Besides, he has a Master's degree in Economics from Harvard University with doctorate studies at the same university. He has been Finance Minister, Minister Secretary General of the Presidency and Education Minister for the Chilean Government, Manager and Research Director of the Central Bank of Chile, Executive Director and Director of the Western Hemisphere Department of the International Monetary Fund, Chairman of the National Innovation Council for Competitiveness, Chief Executive Officer of the Canal 13 group and Professor at Universidad de Chile, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Harvard University, among others. Currently, he is engaged in consulting work. He joined the Committee in August 2021.
Mauricio Villena Chamorro
Mr. Villena holds a PhD and a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University, and a Master of Arts from University of Leeds. His profession is Industrial Civil Engineering. Currently, he is Dean and Professor in Business Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Universidad Diego Portales, Chile. He was Deputy Director and Head of the Department of Studies of the Budget Office of the Ministry of Finance, Chile. Also, He also was a member of the Consultative Committee of the Reference Price of Copper of the Ministry of Finance, Chile. In addition, he has served as Professor in Economics at the Business School of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and held the positions of Interim Dean, Vice Dean, Vice Dean of Postgraduate and Research, Director of Research and Director of the Doctoral Program in Management, and Director of Undergraduate (Business Administration) of the Business School at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
